Saint Luke’s Physician Group is seeking BC/BE radiologists for full-time faculty roles within our employed subspecialty practice at Saint Luke’s in Kansas City, MO. Opportunities are available across multiple areas, including Diagnostic Radiology, MSK, Abdominal, Chest, Neuroradiology, and Interventional Radiology.

Diagnostic Radiology • Opportunities to practice specialty specific imaging approximately 80% of the time as well as 20% of work focused on general nuclear medicine and oncologic PET/CT; no mammography or neuroradiology is required • Subspecialty specific imaging opportunities include but are not limited to: transplant imaging, GI, GU and GYN-oncologic imaging in addition to other subspecialty specific imaging such as CT colonography, hysterosalpingography and Sono hysterography • Weekend daytime call shifts are focused on specialty-specific responsibilities, with occasional coverage of general radiology; evening and overnight shifts are not required
Interventional Radiology • Interventional positions available with dedicated IR clinic time; full spectrum of vascular and nonvascular interventions; weekly involvement in multidisciplinary tumor boards and opportunity to be embedded in multispecialty clinics weekly • Our department is at the forefront of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging technologies and is equipped with state-of-the-art Siemen’s equipment, IT and Epic EMR • Dedicated IR techs and nurses, IR APP’s and nurse navigators help support the department and round out the excellent IR team
MSK Radiology • Work daytime shifts primarily within the community radiology section with opportunity to concentrate on musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging • Clinical responsibilities include interpreting musculoskeletal imaging across a broad spectrum of modalities, such as radiographs, ultrasound, nuclear medicine (bone scans), CT, and MRI; our practice stands out as one of the few in the area providing an extensive array of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound exams • In addition, we perform a wide range of image-guided MSK procedures—primarily using fluoroscopy and ultrasound—such as arthrograms, joint aspirations, and soft tissue or intra-articular injections • Optional responsibility to read general thoracic, abdominal, or neuro studies based on individual comfort level, with no breast imaging required • Partner with an independent teleradiology service that handles interpretive work after 5 pm on weekdays and after 3 pm on weekends; no evening or overnight shifts required • Utilize state-of-the-art facilities across all imaging modalities including radiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, GE and Philips MRI systems (five total, including one 3 Tesla magnet); access advanced GE CT technology to support high-quality imaging and diagnostic capabilities
