divisions around the state to offer candidates an optimal study mix. Procedures are not required, but
radiologists will be accommodated if they would like to maintain proficiency.
We have a team-based style of practice, and our next Neuroradiologist will be
able to collaborate with an experienced team of subspecialists.

dedicated staff will handle all licensing and credentialing needs.
LOCAL
PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RAF is a leading radiology practice in
Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the
state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the
Keys. Since our beginnings more than 50 years ago, we’ve enjoyed tremendous
growth while keeping a commitment to superior service for our longtime partner
hospitals. Our scale affords our practice stability and affords our
radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that
scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice
radiology at the cutting edge, encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations
across the practice, and facilitating collaboration and consultation
between our radiologists.
We enjoy a state-of-the-art unified PACS
software suite that aggregates all of our sites onto one smart worklist, which
distributes cases intelligently based on your workload and areas of expertise.
Built into PACS are convenient collaboration tools that make it as easy to
share cases and consult with colleagues remotely as it would be in a communal
reading room. There are also built-in communication tools to reach our 24/7
radiology assistant concierges and IT support, minimizing your need to pick up
the phone. We also have a growing suite of artificial intelligence support
tools to automatically handle repetitive tasks like searching for
evidence-based guidelines, and free access to point-of-care decision support
solutions. Our newest AI tools offer automatic detection of urgent findings
such as intracranial hemorrhage, spine fracture, rib fracture and pulmonary
embolism. We have integrated generative AI into our PowerScribe environment to
allow automatic impression generation using your own individual reporting
style.
Our practice is locally and democratically
led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a
few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians
for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In
Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of
Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite
residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency
programs to rotate in our departments.
Our diverse group of radiologists work and
socialize together in our communities around Florida. Even between our
communities across the state, we are one practice. We have a vibrant mix of
highly experienced radiologists, as well as emerging leaders in our large
cohort of early-career radiologists. We look forward to letting you get to know
us better!
