The Department of Radiology at Stanford University Medical Center has two Cardiovascular Imaging (CVI) Fellowship positions open from July 2026 to June 2027.  This fellowship offers comprehensive and in-depth clinical training for radiologists who desire to gain special competency and credential in CT and MR imaging of cardiac and vascular diseases.  Fellows are exposed to a broad range of studies, including coronary CT angiography, CT planning for various transcatheter valve replacement, CTA for complex aortic stent-graft and surgical repairs, MR myocardial parametric imaging, MR stress perfusion scan, and hemodynamic studies for valvular and congenital heart disease.  The CVI service is supported by state-of-the-art equipment from diverse manufacturers and post-processing services, for example, photon-counting dual-source CT,  4D-Flow visualization, coronary fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR) computation, and 3D-printing.  Fellows are taught by experienced clinical and research faculty well-known in the field.  Up to 12 weeks of the fellowship can be allocated for research activities or training in other imaging services.  Upon completion of this fellowship, fellows will qualify for advanced practitioner (level 3) certifications for cardiac CT and MRI.  Fellowship applicants must be board certified or board eligible in radiology and qualify for medical licensure in California.  Interested party should contact program administrator, Alyssa Martinez and amart10@stanford.edu.
