POSITION SUMMARY

• General Radiology: Open to any subspecialty
• Position includes non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging, which consists of emergency, neuro, and mammo
• Flexible Shifts: Hybrid of Onsite and Remote options available
• Single Site Shifts
• Diagnostic Mammo and Stereotactic Biopsies for Breast Imagers
• Excellent work-life balance, team environment, and generous vacation plan
• Total Compensation: $450,000
• Moonlighting opportunities to earn additional income - $3,600 for a Saturday or Sunday shift
• Full range of benefits including a full credentialing and licensing staff
• Malpractice covered by practice
• Call equity amongst group members – typically 1 - 2 weekend shifts per month

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Midstate Radiology https://www.midstaterad.com, an 11 Radiologist private practice located in Murfreesboro and Smyrna (just outside of Nashville) is primarily based at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford (ASTR) along with three outpatient imaging centers known as Premier Radiology https://www.premierradiology.com/. ASTR, is a 358-bed is modern facility built in 2010 featuring a newly renovated 16 operating room suite, 32-bed ICU, and all-private patient rooms. The beautiful 68-acre campus, including medical office buildings, is situated on the bustling “Medical Center Parkway” corridor featuring convenient access to shopping and dining just off Interstate 840. South Nashville is one of the fastest growing areas of the erupting Greater Nashville region.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified/Board-eligible, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
• Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN
• CAQ is a plus, MQSA Preferred
