The Division of Abdominal Imaging within the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Radiology is seeking one full-time Staff Radiologist. The Division, which consists of 24 faculty members, has a nationally and internationally established reputation in Abdominal Imaging, and practices within the highly multidisciplinary tertiary/quaternary care environment of the MGH and MGH Cancer Center. Services provided include CT, US, MRI, fluoroscopy, radiography, and PET/CT (in collaboration with Nuclear Medicine), as well as state-of-the-art imaging methods in various major modalities, including Dual energy CT, Photon counting CT and PET/MRI. In addition to our long history of advancing medical imaging, our department provides many physician support options including mentoring programs, wellness activities, expert research partnership and support. MGH Radiology encompasses all of its work through the lens of diversity and equity to create a strong collaborative and inclusive environment.
The Division seeks candidates who are fellowship-trained in Abdominal Imaging, who have strong clinical skills and research experience, and who will contribute to the teaching mission of the Division and Department. In addition to participating in these activities, successful candidates will staff multidisciplinary conferences and contribute to a strong culture of multidisciplinary care.
The successful candidate’s academic rank at Harvard Medical School (HMS) will be at the Instructor or Assistant or Associate Professor level, commensurate with qualifications. A faculty appointment at (HMS) involves teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
