The practice of trauma radiology is a life-long learning process, and the opportunity is not limited to candidates with fellowship training in ER/trauma- those with body, neuro, or MSK experience and interest/enthusiasm in growing as a trauma radiologist in a supportive and collegial work environment are welcome to apply.
Available Positions:
-full-time faculty track (on-site). Includes clinical mentorship from senior faculty with shared day, evening, and weekend shift responsibilities. There are rich opportunities for research or other scholarly work. This is not a requirement for a position, but there are many academic opportunities for interested candidates.
-On-site or off-site overnight work. Remote work from home in any of the 50 states is possible with a Maryland license and offers excellent work-life balance.
-On-site or remote per diem 1099 contract work is also offered.

Requirements:
Board eligible/certified Radiologist.
Fellowship training in Trauma Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal, or Neuroradiology preferred but not limited to and candidates with different backgrounds or starting their career are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging: Perform and interpret a wide range of imaging studies, including radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), to diagnose acute injuries and their complications.
Collaboration: Work closely with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, and other specialists.
Patient Care: Tailor imaging studies according to the type of trauma sustained and oversee image acquisition to ensure high-quality results.
Education: Supervise and mentor radiology residents and fellows, contributing to their training and development.
Research: Participate in cutting-edge research if interested to advance the use of non-invasive imaging in trauma care.
Innovation: Utilize state-of-the-art imaging technologies, including multi-energy CT scanners and advanced MRI systems, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.
