HYBRID-PRACTICE MSK RADIOLOGIST in CHICAGO, IL SUBURBS
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Endeavor Health is seeking a highly qualified, full-time fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologist to join our large subspecialized practice. The position is 100% musculoskeletal focused, reading almost exclusively high-level MSK MRI and CT, although time can potentially be split between other radiology sections if the candidate desires. Experience with MSK procedures and ultrasound is preferred.
Enjoy a work life balance covering day-time onsite and remote shifts in a supportive environment with reasonable volumes. The Musculoskeletal Radiology section is located at the dedicated Orthopedic Skokie Hospital, while providing off-site coverage for 3 other local community hospitals. The section also provides imaging interpretations for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Fire sports teams.
The Musculoskeletal Radiology section also supports 4 dedicated MSK radiology fellows who share in the minor call responsibilities. Radiology residents, medical students and non-radiology interns and residents from the University of Chicago also rotate through radiology, and the department supports an interest in teaching.
The position provides excellent compensation with a generous PTO and benefits package, including comprehensive health, 401k, disability, and malpractice coverage. Relocation costs are also reimbursed.
Academic/research productivity is not required for this position or for promotion within the Department. If inclined, however, there is full support for academic endeavors.
