A full time academic abdominal radiology faculty position is available in the Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Qualified candidates may be considered for Abdominal Section Chief appointment. Faculty Rank and Track will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
The University of Cincinnati Department of Radiology has 32 residents in diagnostic radiology, and 1 resident/year in the integrated DR/IR residency. The section of abdominal imaging has 1-2 fellows each year. There are opportunities for participation in education administration.
Faculty members provide onsite clinical service at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) with primarily remote coverage of the other UC Health facilities. UCMC is the only adult Level 1 Trauma center in the greater Cincinnati area. We have an active transplant (liver, living related liver, kidney, pancreas, autologous islet cell, bone marrow, cardiac) program and outstanding multidisciplinary collaboration with multiple subspecialty programs. The UC Health academic health system has an integrated PACS/EMR/voice recognition system across the healthcare system. A fully functional home PACS workstation is provided.
This faculty position will work onsite with the opportunity for remote shifts, coordinated amongst the members of the abdominal imaging section.

Essential Functions
Responsibilities include staffing at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities.
This position is responsible for a full range of abdominal imaging diagnostic examinations and for training fellows, residents and medical students.
Minimum Requirements
MD/DO degree or equivalent.
Ohio medical license or eligible.
ABR/AOBR certified or in process.
Fellowship training in Body imaging, abdominal radiology or equivalent.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Expertise in abdominal imaging.
Competency to cover all aspects of body imaging.
