Description The Radiology Department at Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team. The candidate will join a division of dedicated Interventional Radiologists, an IR Physician Assistant and an IR Nurse Practitioner. The candidate will perform a wide range of challenging and interesting procedures as Stony Brook is a Level 1 trauma center and the only tertiary care hospital in Suffolk County with a large referral base. They will also hold an academic appointment with our Renaissance School of Medicine with the opportunity to teach and mentor residents, fellows and medical students. There is also support for research if the candidate so desires.
The IR suite is now located in the new hospital pavilion with state of the art equipment.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MD, DO or equivalent, NYS Licensure (eligible), Board Certified (eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at an ACGME-accredited institution.
