Faculty Position, Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine
The Department of Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City is seeking to fill research faculty positions in biomedical imaging research. Rank of assistant, associate or full professor are commensurate with experience and achievement. Areas of strategic focus include:
Clinical imaging methods and applications
Artificial Intelligence
Image post-processing and analysis - including but not limited to machine learning
Oncologic, breast, body, and neurologic imaging
3D Imaging & 3D Printing
Montefiore-Einstein isnationally recognized for clinical excellence—breaking new ground in research, training the next generation of healthcare leaders, and delivering science-driven, patient-centered care.We are one of the largest health systems in the New York City metropolitan area serving a large and diverse patient population.Montefiore-Einstein has an annual NIH grant funding of >$245 and is home of many Centers of Excellence, including 8 NIH-designated research centers. Montefiore-Einstein Radiology has over 65 FTE radiologists and a large array of imaging facilities across 3 acute care hospitals, a dedicated children’s hospital as well as multiple clinics across the metropolitan areas, conducive to clinical research. The Gruss Magnetic Resonance Research Center (Radiology) has 9 imaging research faculty and an array of research-dedicated human and animal imaging scanners
Successful candidates are expected to conduct independent research, secure grant funding, and mentor trainees in research, and work collaboratively with investigators in the department and the institution. Senior level appointment requires an established history of research accomplishment and grant funding, as well as active grants.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $275,000, based on experience.
