The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is currently recruiting for a full-time Tenure-Track Associate or Full Professor with expertise in Cardiac MRI Imaging to be a member of the Departmental MR physics team in the Magnetic Resonance Research Lab (MRRL) (https://mrrl.ucla.edu). Titles in these series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in research and teaching. High academic achievement in the form of publications and grant funding are required. UCLA Radiology is a well-known leader MR imaging, offers a robust, stimulating, and stable environment for academic careers in the field of MR research. The Department has the technologically advanced MR equipment to perform at the highest levels of MR research.
Candidates must hold a PhD degree relating to MR imaging and have research experience in cardiac MR imaging and/or MR imaging. Innovative imaging techniques in cardiovascular, neurological, oncologic MR imaging plus MR image-guided diagnosis, and treatment are the major strategic research and clinical directions in the Department, as well as the new in the field of neuromodulation and neural control of disease.
