Job Summary The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a full-time night radiologist to provide finalized reads with emergency department and emergent/stat inpatient coverage.
Excellent time off! Schedule is 7-nights on and between 14-21 days/nights off (total 15 weeks of night shifts and 37 weeks of vacation per year). The position is local in the Denver metro area with easy access to all the beauty that Colorado has to offer.
The desired individual would enjoy reading challenging cases and teaching residents in a collegial work environment. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting the range of emergent cases to be expected at a tertiary care and Level 1 trauma center, including neuro CTA, body/trauma CTA, and transplant imaging.

Onsite night coverage divided between 2 hospitals 1 week at each site over course of 7 weeks.
University Hospital (10pm – 7am)
Denver Health Medical Center (9pm – 7am)
Job Responsibilities: Interpretation of all emergent imaging studies performed, including neuro and abdominal MR, CT, US, and CR/DR examinations. Duties also include resident supervision and education.
