The Body Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Division Chief. The Division Chief will be responsible for leading the division in the clinical, education, and research areas as we continue our mission to improve health and patient care throughout Arkansas. Candidates must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree, be either BE/BC by the ABR and have medical licensure or eligibility in Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have a service-oriented, practice-building approach and proven leadership experience. The division chief will be a key member of Executive Council of Radiology, the decision making body of radiology department, along with other division chiefs and the Chair.
In addition to body imaging, the Department of Radiology faculty offer expertise across key Divisions including MSK, Breast, Interventional Neuroradiology, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, Radiology Sciences and Pediatric Radiology. We provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care in conjunction with appropriate consultants and specialists for the diagnosis of a broad spectrum of diseases. Our mission is to provide high quality patient care while training the next generation of diagnostic radiologists.
