Emergency/Trauma Radiologist
Yale University
The Emergency/Trauma section is a multispecialty group whose practice includes a large inpatient unit (with average daily census of 1168), a level one trauma center, as well as several urgent care and freestanding ER sites, in addition to partial coverage of the VA West Haven Medical Center Emergency Room. This program was one of the first in the nation to provide contemporaneous 24 X 7 imaging interpretation for our Emergency/Trauma patients. We cover off hour inpatient examinations and 24-hour emergency examinations with final reporting available to clinicians at all times. Our group has a track record of collaborative research, flexibility in scheduling shifts, and a commitment to the best clinical care. The primary sites of coverage, are at the main Yale New Haven Health and St. Raphael Campuses, both of which are centrally located in New Haven, with access to a vibrant and passionate University.
