The Department of Radiology at Staten Island University Hospital/Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
The successful candidate will be a fifth physician, joining a division with 4 experienced interventional radiologists. We perform a broad range of IR procedures including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, TIPS, venous access, GU interventions, GI interventions, biliary procedures, and image guided biopsies on state-of-the-art equipment. Interested candidates will also have the opportunity to rotate through light diagnostic coverage. This position will be sited in Staten Island, NY.
Applicants must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have completed an interventional radiology fellowship. Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient clinical care and active involvement in teaching of medical students and residents of the ACGME approved residency program. In addition, we are an ACGME-approved ESIR program with currently one fulltime resident on service. There are abundant opportunities for research.
