The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers.
The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service (MITS) is part of the Department of Radiology at MSK. Our team of physicians, technologists, nurses, physicists, pharmacists and radiochemists provides a comprehensive clinical service, conducts translational and clinical research, and provides institutional research support for a large number of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical trials. We a looking for an additional faculty at the junior or mid-career level to join our service between late 2020 and the summer of 2021.
The ideal candidate should have:
Clinical skills covering the entire spectrum of nuclear medicine
Board certification in nuclear medicine (ABNM); additional certification in another specialty (e.g., Radiology or Internal Medicine) is desired but not mandatory
Eligibility for New York State license
Significant interest in clinical and translational research
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate productively within the service and across the institution
