UVA University Physicians Group: Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging
Opportunity for a Musculoskeletal Imaging Radiologist
The UVA Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging Community Practice Division has a need to recruit an ABR-board-certified, fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Imaging Radiologist to join an expanding program in imaging services that includes affiliated community hospitals. This opportunity will be in our Haymarket, Prince William and Culpeper practices, located in the metropolitan northern Virginia area.
Our practices are integrated within the hospital multidisciplinary programs where talented collaborators in all specialties are available in a supportive environment. The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is a dynamic and growing department with energetic faculty, highly skilled technical and administrative staff, and state-of-the-art equipment.
The northern Virginia region is one of the safest and fastest-growing areas in the United States. Besides quick access to our nation's capital, northern Virginia is home to excellent public and private schools; a diversity of housing options in cities, towns, and rural areas; highly developed infrastructure; and a wealth of artistic, culinary, and retail experiences. The ocean, the mountains, award-winning vineyards, major league sporting venues, and the world-renowned cultural institutions of Washington, D.C. are all a short drive away.
Successful candidates should have an MD/DO, at least one year of clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Imaging, or successful completion of a Musculoskeletal Fellowship. The applicant should have a strong commitment to patient-focused care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and teamwork. Board eligibility or certification with the American Board of Radiology is required.
The ability to contribute to reading general radiology studies is a benefit to the community division as a whole.
A highly competitive base salary, incentive program and relocation assistance will be offered.
