Boston Medical Center (BMC) Department of Radiology is accepting applications from individuals interested in joining our well established section of Breast Imaging. The section of Breast Imaging is looking to interview an individuals in search of a full-time position. Candidates must be ABR-eligible or ABR-certified. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required.
Candidates must be comfortable with interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis, as well as breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Physicians will be expected to perform stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies as well as needle and seed localizations. Informatics and research background are valued.
Boston University Radiology Associates, a group of 36 Radiologists, was established in 1915 provides full-service diagnostic, nuclear, and interventional radiology.
Seeing more than one million patient visits a year in over 70 medical specialties and subspecialties, BMC physicians are leaders in their fields with the most advanced medical technology at their fingertips and working alongside a highly-skilled nursing and professional staff. The Breast Imaging section performs approximately 20,000 studies a year.
The Department of Radiology accepts 10 residents per year, and the Breast Imaging Radiology Division is very active in resident education. The Breast Imaging Division also holds one Fellowship Position.
