The Regional Radiology practice of University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University is seeking fellowship trained board certified or board eligible radiologists for positions in our regional practice.
The Department of Radiology performs 1.5 million exams per year. Our world-renowned health care network is anchored by our flagship facility, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. This 1032-bed academic medical center and tertiary-care hospital has been consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's best hospitals in all 12 medical and surgical specialties.
The positions offer flexible working conditions, competitive vacation/benefit packages, and an opportunity for home workstations for weekend coverage.
These are day shift positions primarily with opportunity for flexible scheduling in your fellowship, and occasional coverage of the emergency department service.
UH Radiology has an Emergency Radiology section which covers the evenings and early morning hours, with partial coverage during the dayshifts as well; the regional practice assists with daytime coverage.
The home workstations may also be used if you wish to earn extra compensation for reading overflow work during the off hours or assist in ED coverage.
If you have a desire to maintain a relationship with the academic side of radiology or participate in residency teaching, rotations to the main campus can be arranged as part of your practice.
We are also considering radiologists who may want to work on the West Coast or Hawaii and receive the same full set of UH salary and benefits as those in working in Ohio.
Ohio medical license (or eligible)
Board certified (or eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology with Fellowship training
All fellowships will be considered; our main needs at this time include Body Imaging, Chest, Neuro, and Mammography.
The ability to perform minor IR procedures or mammography would be a plus but is not mandatory as the IR and mammography sections are available to cover these areas as well.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Interested applicants should send CV to Dr. Edward Bury at Edward.Bury@UHhospitals.org
