The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in affiliation with Harvard Medical School, is seeking a Radiologist with expertise in clinical administration and body imaging to serve as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in its Department of Imaging. The Vice Chair will report to the Chair of The Department of Imaging at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and will also become a member of the Brigham and Women's Physician Organization with its excellent benefits package.
Among various responsibilities, the Vice Chair will oversee and provide clinical services in collaboration with other department leadership and the department chair; support the clinical leaders to ensure goals are achieved and the highest quality of clinical services is maintained; operationalize an effective clinical staffing model; facilitate the creation of new service lines; integrate workforce and teaching in the clinic in collaboration with training program directors; serve in the instrumental role of facilitating a significant expansion of the department which will begin in the fall of 2020; interface with other clinical departments; foster clinical research, including collaborations with the affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital.
The appointment rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, and dependent on qualifications. The desired candidate would, at minimum, fulfill criteria for appointment as Assistant Professor, or ideally at the Associate Professor level.
