The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting a full-time Associate Professor or Professor position, in the Health Science Clinical or in the in-Residence Series, for a newly-formed Division Chief of UCLA Interventional Radiology (IR). Titles in these series are assigned to academically qualified individuals who are in full-time service of the University, who are excellent in teaching, clinical service, and research and who are engaged in creative academic activities.
Candidates must be eligible for California Medical licensure and American Board of Radiology certification, and have completed a one-year ACGME IR fellowship and have had a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience as an academic IR radiologist. A strong track record of leadership, organizational skills, program growth, innovation and clinical excellence is required. The candidate must possess an understanding of image guided-treatments encompassing all imaging modalities: fluoroscopy/angiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, PET-CT and MR/PET. A publication record in clinical research, grant funding, and participation in clinical trials will be viewed favorably.
