The Interventional Radiology Division is a busy clinical service and treats over 4000 patients per year encompassing the full gamut of IR procedures. There is also an admitting service and an outpatient clinic. There are currently 4 IRs, we are adding a 5th IR due to growth in clinical volumes. This is a 100% IR position, CTA and MRA are also read by our division. There are 3 dedicated IR angiography suites and an IR CT procedure suite with a fourth biplane suite shared with NIR. There is a well-established ACGME accredited IR fellowship that currently has 2 IR fellows per year. The IR fellowship will transition to an ACGME accredited Independent IR Residency in July 2020. An RRC approved ESIR program for senior radiology residents is already successfully underway. Primary responsibilities include clinical excellence as well as medical student, resident and fellow education and research. Preference will be given to those applicants with a history of peer reviewed publication and presentation at national and international meetings. Protected academic time is available for all division members. This position has possible leadership opportunities for the appropriate candidate.
