The Radiology Department of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Radiologist. Candidate must be ABR board certified or eligible with nuclear radiology CAQ or ABNM board certified or eligible. Dual certification and a commitment to excellence in clinical, teaching, scholarly activity and academic service is preferred. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
The Nuclear Medicine Division supervises and interprets more than 20,000 examinations per year at Clements University Hospital & Clinics as well as at the Parkland Health & Hospital System, including General Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, nuclear cardiology, and DEXA. The division also oversees a theranostic program with 131iodine, 223Ra, and 177Lu therapies.
The division also hosts an ACGME-accredited nuclear medicine residency program, a PET/CT fellowship program, and an integrated ABR/ABNM training program for dual certification.
