Job description: Schatzki Associates, a unique hybrid private-academic practice, is seeking a fellowship trained radiologist for a faculty position at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor level. Our practice provides physician staffing for the Department of Radiology at Mount Auburn Hospital, a teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School. This partnership track position is available due to continued growth and expansion of our clinical practice and teaching mission and is open to enthusiastic applicants who are dedicated to providing high quality care to our patient and provider community. Applicants should be committed to active participation in both radiology resident and medical student education. Schatzki Associates prides itself in training outstanding future radiologists while simultaneously providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Candidates should be skilled at all aspects of women’s imaging. Leadership experience and/or aspirations is a plus.
Our practice, founded in 1947, is rooted in the Richard Schatzki Department of Radiology at the Mount Auburn Hospital. Today we provide radiology services at Mount Auburn Hospital, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University Health Services, and have a growing teleradiology practice. All 14 staff radiologists are subspecialty fellowship trained and hold appointments at Harvard Medical School. The state-of-the-art department has 5 digital Hologic mammogram units including 3D tomography. The breast practice includes, stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided breast interventions as well as radioactive seed localization techniques and automated whole breast screening ultrasound. 2 brand new Siemens CT scanners (including the dual source Force), 3 MRI units in a brand new imaging suite including a 3T scanner round out the department. Requirements: Applicants must be American Board of Radiology-eligible/certified, and fellowship-trained. Candidates must be eligible for academic appointment at the Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School.
