2020-2021 UT Southwestern Breast Imaging Fellowship

The Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is currently accepting candidates for its Breast Imaging Fellowship program for the 2020-21 academic year (start date: July 1, 2020).
13 dedicated Breast Imaging faculty provide comprehensive clinical training at UT Southwestern Center for Breast Care and the Parkland Comprehensive Breast Center.
Fellows are trained in in an array of standard and cutting-edge diagnostic imaging modalities and interventional procedures.
Fellows receive dedicated time to participate in educational pursuits, which include conference preparation, meeting time, and opportunities for mentored research projects.
Fellows are actively involved in regular breast-imaging related conferences, including a weekly multidisciplinary breast conference, a monthly journal club, a biweekly biopsy review conference, and a monthly radiology-pathology correlation conference.
Additional educational opportunities include the ability to attend twice weekly breast imaging-specific conferences given as part of the resident core lecture series, as well as monthly Radiology Grand Rounds featuring prestigious visiting and local professors.
Benefits include three weeks of vacation, one week of conference time, and an academic enrichment fund.
Pay is commensurate with PGY level.
Breast-specific emergency pager call duty is taken from home only (no in-house call duty, Monday – Thursday only, no weekends, no holidays)
Numerous optional general radiology moonlighting opportunities are available.
The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex offers numerous cultural, athletic, and culinary diversions with ready access to DFW International and Dallas Love Field airports.
UT Southwestern will consider applicants who have matriculated in an ACGME-accredited diagnostic radiology residency. UT Southwestern only offers J-1 visas.
