The Department of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is offering a full-time faculty position for an Abdominal / Body Imaging Radiologist. Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and x-ray is desired. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a career in a growing and dynamic department at New York’s #1 hospital and in one of New York City’s best neighborhoods.
The Department of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is expanding in tandem with the Hospital, including a recently opened outpatient imaging center and the anticipated opening of an additional state of the art imaging facility within the Hospital’s Center for Community Health, a cutting-edge ambulatory building scheduled to open in the autumn of 2020. The Department’s baseline volume of body imaging studies and concurrent institutional growth in areas such as urology, colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary medicine, and oncology present a tremendous opportunity to expand and elevate abdominal / body imaging, particularly in the realm of advanced body MRI (e.g., prostate, rectal, liver, and renal MRI).
Park Slope is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of New York City and is blessed with excellent public schools, vast green space including access to Prospect Park, scores of restaurants and bars, and a diverse retail sector. New York City is the “capital of the world” with unparalleled access to sports, dining, the arts, shopping, and activities. A highly competitive benefits package is offered, including numerous retirement plans and ample time off for vacation and CME.
