The Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Abdominal/Body Imager for a full time position in its Division of Body Imaging at the Mount Sinai Hospital campus in Manhattan.
The Body Imaging section (12 members plus 3 fellows) is responsible for providing services for a busy inpatient and outpatient practice on campus with a broad range of clinical material. The Mount Sinai Hospital is a large tertiary care center with an active transplant service. Members of the section typically rotate between inpatient and outpatient services. Proficiency in all aspects of abdominal imaging including MR, CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopic studies is required. Proficiency in abdominal interventional procedures is preferred. Our faculty is dedicated to clinical excellence and the education of medical students, residents and fellows. There are many opportunities for research, interdisciplinary conferences, mentorship and personal growth. Overnight attending coverage is provided by a separate, dedicated Emergency Radiology Section.
