Job Details: In Yellowknife, Northwest Territories requires a full-time or part-time Radiologist to join their diagnostic team. The ideal candidate must be skilled in General Radiology, including the following modalities: X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound (General, MSK, and OB), CT, MRI and breast biopsy/mammography. Other skills that would be an asset are basic interventional training in Arthrocentesis, Lumbar punctures, Barium studies and Thoracentesis/Paracentesis. You would be required to provide services in a variety of practice settings, including community clinics, and hospital environments (including on-call work). You will have flexible supplementary Teleradiology options available to you. Payment structure is a contract arrangement, with potential future partnership opportunities, to be discussed with the client.
Clinic Details: The diagnostic clinics and hospital facilities offer x-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT and magnetic resonance imaging services.
Requirements: • A 4 year minimum commitment is required • Canadian/US trained or International Medical Graduate on a Full license within Canada (or able to get Full license on arrival) • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Certification • Eligible for licence in Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Alberta (client will pay for multiple licences) • Must be eligible for hospital privileges with Stanton Territorial Hospital and Whitehorse General Hospital
Additional Salary Information: Competitive remuneration with a range of potential annual earnings between $650,000 -$750,000, up to $800,000 with on-call services, flexible and generous vacation, research and training opportunities and long-term job security. Some expenses are paid, and to be discussed with client.
