Witt/Kieffer has been retained by the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) to find a distinguished executive leader to serve as its next Chief, Medical Physics Computer Services (Service Chief).
MSKCC is the world's oldest and largest private cancer center that has devoted more than 130 years to exceptional patient care. MSKCC has a long tradition of leading innovation in all aspects of radiation oncology physics and technology to improve clinical effectiveness of radiation therapy. The Service Chief will lead and support many of these leading-edge efforts around software design and application.
The Service Chief will lead the Computer Services division of the Department of Medical Physics. The Department of Medical Physics provides care and innovation through technical delivery and the support of radiation oncology and imaging. The Service Chief will lead the teams over application development and system operations including the administration of 30 custom applications across MSKCC. The division also provides expertise in the development of new applications that will aid in the treatment of patients across MSKCC and beyond. The Service Chief will work closely with clinical leaders, other department heads and the Chief Health Informatics Officer.
A Master's degree with a track record of success is required. A PhD in biomedical informatics, physics, biomedical engineering, computer science or a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-cycle software development, a history in facilitating collaboration and the ability to lead in a matrixed organization.
