The Department of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine is a premier program, recognized for its excellent clinical imaging and patient care; competitive residency and fellowship training programs; expanding research programs with particular emphasis in neuroimaging; and award-winning faculty that hold prestigious positions of leadership in national professional societies. The Department is poised for expansive growth and transformation, and the next chair will be expected to modernize operations and service in a time of rapid change in contemporary clinical radiology, inspire innovation, and strengthen the culture and performance of the department as a whole. A national search is underway.
The successful candidate will be a highly energetic, collaborative, and creative physician leader who has significant experience leading and managing an academic clinical unit in a complex environment. She/he will be a skilled clinician, possessing business acumen, who will drive volume and program expansion; ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and quality and safety of patient care. Importantly, she/he will recognize the importance of physician and staff well-being, and demonstrate commitment to the organizational values and academic purposes of USC and The Keck School of Medicine.
