The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting to fill a full-time breast imaging radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a non-tenure track position with primary assignments at UF Health in Gainesville. Requirements include MD or DO with Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Radiology. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Expertise in all aspects of breast imaging, including digital tomosynthesis interpretation, ultrasound, and MRI is required. The ability to perform image-guided procedures using tomosynthesis, stereo, ultrasound and MRI is also required.
Completion of a mammography fellowship or an equivalent experience is required. Clinical responsibilities include patient care, teaching of house staff and medical students, and leading interdisciplinary conferences. A commitment to education is required, as the University of Florida has a large training program with residents and students rotating in mammography daily. The department offers resources and support for research and innovative education opportunities.
