Faculty Radiologist Position at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women's Hospital
Cancer Imaging/Body Radiologist
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and Brigham and Women's Hospital, in affiliation with Harvard Medical School, has several openings for fellowship trained (abdominal imaging or cancer imaging fellowship preferred) board-certified radiologists.
As a world premiere, high-volume comprehensive cancer treatment and research center, the DFCI Department of Imaging features state-of-the-art dual-energy CTs, MRIs, PET-CTs, and US, among other imaging equipment, in a high-volume clinic. For research and academic endeavors, we have outstanding collaborators in the Department of Imaging, the Disease Centers and research laboratories at DFCI and affiliated institutions such as the Brigham Research Institute. Dedicated DFCI research facilities include a state-of-the-art small animal imaging facility (Lurie Family Imaging Center), a research-dedicated cyclotron facility (Molecular Cancer Imaging Facility), an integrated strategic preclinical and clinical research imaging center (the Center for Biomedical Imaging in Oncology), biostatistical support, information technology backbone, and a centralized tumor metrics core. A major expansion of the DFCI Department of Imaging will occur in 2020. We are therefore looking to recruit multiple faculty members throughout 2019, starting immediately.
Successful applicants ideally would have a record of interest in cancer imaging and should be fluent in CT, MRI, and ultrasound imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Fellowship training in abdominal imaging or body MRI would be preferred, and clinical and/or preclinical research experience would represent an additional plus. Both Diagnostic and dual Diagnostic/Nuclear Medicine board-certified Radiologists are welcome to apply.
Faculty will receive a Harvard Medical School appointment, with rank commensurate with experience.
