Provides clinical services and teaches diagnostic radiology. Interprets X-ray images of all modalities of diagnostic radiology when needed. Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects, as requested or assigned by the department chair. Lectures, holds conferences, and participates in related meetings and school functions. Initiates or participates in scholarly activities of the Department of Radiology. Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility. Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations.
M.D. or D.O. degree, completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology residency program. Competent in all imaging modalities, including US, CT, MRI, and plain films. Holds a Texas medical license or eligible for licensure. Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and completion of one year of training in either thoracic imaging or neuroradiology.
