The department of radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital is recruiting an academic radiologist to join the division of Breast Imaging. The division is fully equipped with state-of-the-art breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI and procedure rooms and performs more than 60,000 mammograms, 8,000 ultrasounds, 3,000 MRIs and 3,000 procedures annually.
The division has an active multidisciplinary research program, leveraging strong relationships across MGH, Partners, MIT, Harvard and industry. Collectively, we support a diversity of research topics in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The division runs a highly competitive breast imaging fellowship program and provides comprehensive training for medical students and residents. Candidates should have completed fellowship training in breast imaging and expect to participate in all clinical, research and educational activities of the division.
The successful candidate will join our team of 12 breast imagers in a stimulating and supportive environment, working closely with team members and stellar multidisciplinary colleagues. Academic appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School may be commensurate with qualifications. Requirements include a board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in breast imaging.
