The Johns Hopkins Department of Radiology and Radiological Science is seeking applicants for the position of Division Chief of Breast Imaging.
We are seeking candidates with strong clinical and leadership skills to inspire and lead a growing clinical service with 12 faculty. A patient-centered focus with excellent communication skills is critical. Successful candidates will need an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration and innovation.
The Division Chief will closely collaborate with the community breast imaging chief at Sibley Memorial Hospital on integrating services across the national capital region.
Breast imaging is a key growth area in our ambulatory strategy, and the successful division chief will provide a vision for clinical care and guide the growth of this service.
Requirements for this position include proven leadership ability and a dedication to our tripartite mission of patient care, education and research. In addition to excellent clinical care and innovative research, the division chief will also have a commitment to educational excellence and oversee the training of two fellows and numerous residents and medical students.
Johns Hopkins imaging centers are ACR and MQSA certified and provide comprehensive screening and diagnostic mammography services including tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and biopsy services including stereotactic, US-guided and MR-guided procedures.
