Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Regional Radiology invites Board Certified/Eligible General Radiologists to join the Imaging Institute as an Overnight Radiologist. The Department of Regional Radiology includes an extensive system of 10 community hospitals and 19 ambulatory care facilities including imaging centers in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. In addition to Regional Radiology coverage, the Overnight Section provides call coverage to the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Emergency Department, Cleveland Clinic Florida and North Hawaii Community Hospital. All departments and outpatient facilities are networked with PACS (AGFA Impax), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360) and EMR (EPIC). This continues to evolve as the Cleveland Clinic invests in state of the art technology as one of the largest integrated systems in the U.S. Our staff is collegial and our mission is excellent patient care
The Overnight Section is seeking to expand to meet the needs of our growing service. We are currently seeking either a General Radiologist with formal fellowship training (ideally in Body Imaging or Neuroradiology). Successful applicants will practice general emergency radiology in addition to their area of fellowship training. This is a teleradiology position which does not require procedures, onsite coverage or relocation to Ohio. The service is currently staffed by general radiologists as well as pediatric, neuroradiology and nuclear medicine fellowship trained staff. Overnight coverage spans from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. EST with a Core schedule of 7 days on, followed by 14 days off. In addition to this Core schedule, each Overnight radiologist will work an additional 3-4 weeks of Short shift (9p-12a EST) throughout the calendar year. Successful applicants will need to have or obtain Ohio, Florida and Hawaii licensure. This position is available for residency anywhere in the Continental United States with the exception of California.
