The Department of Radiology at the University of Miami School of Medicine is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in the Division of Nuclear Medicine. The position involves clinical, teaching and research activities, including training of nuclear medicine and radiology residents. Candidates for this position must be Board certified in both Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) and Diagnostic Radiology (ABR). Academic rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Professional responsibilities involve the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics and outlying outpatient satellite facilities, as well as hospital based practice at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Hospital.
Resources and imaging equipment include PET/CT, SPECT/CT, conventional nuclear medicine gamma camera imaging, and radiopharmaceutical therapy. The Division is seeking an individual with excellent nuclear medicine background and working experience in all facets of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, including state of the art oncology, cardiology and neurology protocols. Experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy is desired as the Division is very active in conventional and new therapies for thyroid cancer, lymphoma, neuroendocrine tumors, prostate, and other.
