Cardiothoraci Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at the University of Vermont Medical Center in affiliation with The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont is seeking a cardiothoracic radiologist with departmental leadership potential to join our team of four cardiothoracic radiologists. Ours is an academic practice of 40 full and part-time radiologists who serve as the clinical faculty for a 24 member ACGME approved Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the University of Vermont. The Cardiothoracic division interprets chest x-ray, chest tomosynthesis, thoracic CT/MR, cardiac CT/MR and performs thoracic interventional procedures. Members are actively engaged in resident education including daily film interpretation and teaching conferences, and the division interacts routinely with cardiothoracic colleagues at multiple interdisciplinary conferences. This is a Clinical Scholar Pathway full-time position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants must have completed an ACGME accredited cardiothoracic fellowship and must be ABR certified or eligible. The position is 1.0 FTE cardiothoracic radiology although experience with additional radiology subspecialties is desirable. Experience in radiology informatics and information technology is preferred. There is an opportunity for departmental leadership for the appropriately qualified individual.
