The Department of Radiology at Loyola University Health System an Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is actively recruiting a full-time or part-time faculty member for its Breast Imaging Section. Candidates should have expertise in all aspects of breast imaging, be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and be eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging is preferred.
The Breast Imaging Section provides coverage at three diagnostic breast imaging centers and additional satellite locations. The section utilizes 9 digital mammography units with CAD capabilities, 3 digital stereotactic systems, 3.0T and 1.5T MRI systems as well as two whole breast ultrasound systems and digital breast tomosynthesis. All studies are linked via an enterprise-wide PACS system. The section is part of a multi-disciplinary integrated Breast Care Center including imaging, surgery and treatment services. Responsibilities also include teaching and mentoring resident physicians and students.
