The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington is seeking applications for a part-time, 50% FTE, faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor (0113), Associate Professor (0112), or Professor (0111) non-tenure track to join the Emergency and Trauma Radiology section at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, WA.
Harborview Medical Center is one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers and the only Level 1 trauma center in the state of Washington. In addition to caring for local trauma and non-traumatic emergencies, Harborview receives and cares for large numbers of severely injured patients transferred from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Wyoming.
We staff a busy emergency radiology practice situated in the center of the emergency and trauma center. We train medical students and all radiology residents from the University of Washington, as well as two Emergency Radiology fellows per year.
The ideal candidate would have several years of experience in Emergency Radiology, and a demonstrated academic record, but more junior faculty will also be considered if academic ability and productivity can be clearly demonstrated. A fellowship in Emergency Radiology is preferred for junior faculty, but can be waived for those with appropriate experience in an Emergency Radiology program with demonstrated clinical expertise in the field.

Candidates for this position must hold an M.D., or foreign equivalent, be board certified in radiology, and have a strong desire for a career in academic radiology.
