The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking applicants with expertise in diagnostic neuroradiology for a full-time staff position. Interested individuals must be committed to teaching residents and fellows. Because the position is academically-oriented, applicants should demonstrate a track record of research publication commensurate with the number of years in practice. In addition, given the need to support a rapidly growing neurosurgery practice, candidates with expertise in advanced brain imaging, functional MRI, and brain mapping will be given special consideration.
Mayo Clinic emphasizes high quality patient care and has an excellent working relationship with our referring clinicians. Currently, the 47-member practice includes six diagnostic neuroradiologists and one endovascular neuroradiologist. Candidates must be interested in a collaborative practice and be willing to work closely with our colleagues in neurosurgery, otolaryngology, and neurology. Candidates must be fellowship-trained and board-eligible or certified in neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology.
