Breast Radiology, Chest Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology
NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is accepting applications for a one year non-ACGME accredited combined breast and body imaging fellowship beginning July 1, 2019.
The breast and body radiology fellowship consists of 6 months each of breast and body imaging. The Breast Imaging Center is part of a large tertiary referral center with a substantial outpatient practice serving a mixed patient base, including a high-risk population. Fellows play an active role in interpreting diagnostic and screening mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and outside film reviews and in performing interventional procedures including MRI guided breast biopsies. Participation in ongoing research projects with faculty members is encouraged.
The body imaging portion of the fellowship is composed of three 2-month blocks of ultrasound, MRI, and CT. During these rotations, the fellows learn advanced body imaging, including prostate, vascular, and transplant imaging. Body imaging includes all components of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis as well as fetal imaging.
