The Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the area of image guided radiation therapy (IGRT).
We are developing novel imaging technologies for target visualization and treatment monitoring in IGRT. The successful candidate will develop image/data processing algorithms for state of the art x-ray imaging hardware used in 3D imaging systems.
Experience in image processing, mathematical modeling, or optimization methods is highly desired. Prior experience in image artifact detection/correction methods, computer vision, image reconstruction algorithms, or imaging system development is preferred. A track record of peer-reviewed publications is required.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, applied math, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
This is a two-year position supported in part by a grant from National Cancer Institute. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
