A neuroradiology fellowship position is available in the Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) in Philadelphia, PA. This is a one-year, ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship position beginning July 1, 2018. The neuroradiology division is staffed by 8 neuroradiologists, and the department chair is a nationally recognized ENT radiologist. The fellowship includes a one-month pediatric neuroradiology rotation at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as dedicated rotations in ENT radiology. The fellowship provides comprehensive training and skills in all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology. Training in functional-MRI is an integral part of the fellowship. A dedicated MR physics lab specializing in functional imaging of the brain and spine is part of the division. There are multiple divisional teaching conferences as well as interdisciplinary conferences with neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, neurology, ENT, ophthalmology (Will’s Eye Hospital) and radiation oncology to enhance the educational experience. Fellows can attend neuropathology conferences, including brain dissection conference. Thomas Jefferson University hospital is one of a few institutions with MR- PET imaging. Ample research opportunities are available. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and SKMC are major teaching institutions in the Philadelphia region. Required training for entry into the program includes an ACGME-accredited radiology residency or equivalent preparation.
