The University of Chicago is establishing new Level 1 adult trauma services on its Hyde Park medical campus, supplementing the existing Level 1 pediatric trauma services and the Burn and Complex Wound Center. To support the endeavor, the University of Chicago's Department of Radiology seeks Emergency Radiologists for three full-time Clinical Associate positions. Responsibilities will include interpretation of all aspects of emergency radiology diagnostic examinations. The section will provide after-hours, on-site coverage, working one week on duty followed by two weeks off.
Prior to the start of employment qualified individuals must: 1) be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible, 2) have completed a radiology fellowship, and 3) have an active medical license in the state of Illinois. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed an emergency radiology fellowship or demonstrated clinical expertise in the field.
