Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is the second largest hospital in the Los Angeles County hospital system, a trauma center, and a major teaching affiliate of UCLA. It is located about 1/2 hour south of L.A. International Airport, in Torrance (a suburb of Los Angeles).
Harbor-UCLA has its own radiology residency and fellowship programs; currently 24 residents and 3 fellows.
We seek a board-certified interventional radiologist who has completed an IR fellowship and who has post-fellowship experience.
An additional fellowship in neuroradiology would be preferred. If not already experienced in neuro-IR, willingness to learn would also be preferred.
The Department has two IR suites plus one hybrid IR-OR room. One IR suite is being updated to the newest Siemens IR equipment available.
This is a full service Department of Radiology. We are improving all areas of the Department with a number of pieces of equipment.
There are excellent schools in the nearby communities of Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes, as well as in several towns a bit farther away.
Join three other IR attendings, and enjoy wonderful weather, excellent schools, great nearby beaches, and solid employment security working for County government, near the city of Los Angeles (between L.A. and San Diego), working in a collegial, teaching hospital!
Send CV by e-mail to Samson Munn, M.D., FACR, Chair: firstname.lastname@example.org
Board certified (MD or DO).
Experience after interventional radiology fellowship.
