The Department of Radiology at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York is seeking a fellowship-trained cardiovascular/interventional radiologist. This full-time academic position offers an opportunity to excel in teaching, research, publication, and patient care. University Hospital is a 735 bed Level 1 Trauma tertiary care academic health care center in Syracuse, New York, a short drive from the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Ontario. The 38 member subspecialized radiology group (including 3 PhD physicists) maintains a private Medical Service Group and provides services to University Hospital and its out-patient facilities ABR/CAQ certification or eligibility in interventional radiology is required. Total exams are greater than 12,000/year, including vascular and non-vascular procedures. Duties of faculty members include clinical, teaching and research.
