As the Supervisor of Breast Imaging, you’ll report to the Administrative Manager of Outpatient Radiology and the Women’s Breast Center. You’ll oversee daily operations of the Women’s Imaging Departments at the Tully Health Center, Darien Imaging, Wilton, and Greenwich; ensuring the highest quality and compliance with state, federal, and JC regulations, departmental and hospital policies and procedures, objectives, and philosophy.
Some key responsibilities of the Supervisor of Breast Imaging will include:
Aiding in the development of capital requests, and providing feedback to Manager regarding any staffing and equipment needs.
Weekly final approval of employee timecards in electronic time keeping system.
Managing expenses associated with staff, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance focusing on maximizing efficiencies and cost saving.
Participating in the interview process of prospective candidates
Overseeing performance of quality control for all accreditation programs within Tully, Darien, Wilton and Greenwich Women’s Imaging Departments.
Maintaining ownership of mid-year and annual reviews.
Providing mentoring, and promoting idea sharing with direct reports.
Assisting the Quality Manager in reviewing and updating policies and procedures for modalities and areas of oversight.
Managing customer service and service recovery efforts as well as training and overseeing staff to handle situations directly and appropriately.
Maintain active membership in AHRA, ACHE, CHA, or other suitable accreditations.
Preparing, maintaining, and submitting statistical reports as requested.
Maintaining ownership for Apparent Cause Analyses.
Serving as a member on the NAPBC Committee.
Collaborating with Radiology Leadership to support growth strategies and initiatives.
Qualified Radiology professionals will possess:
ARRT and mammography license
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of radiology
Prior management/leadership experience
Strong PC skills, including MS Office
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills
Experience with Performance Improvement programs
Competency with statistics and statistical analysis preferred
