NUCLEAR RADIOLOGY (ACGME) AND NUCLEAR MEDICINE (NON-ACGME) FELLOWHIPS
Two one-year fellowship positions are available in the Nuclear Medicine department at Columbia University Medical Center / New York-Presbyterian Hospital for the 2017-18 academic year, beginning on July 1st. We will also be accepting applications for the academic year 2018-2019.
ACGME accredited Nuclear Radiology Fellowship. Prerequisite education for entry into the fellowship program includes the satisfactory completion of a Diagnostic Radiology residency program accredited by the ACGME or the RCPSC.
Non-ACGME accredited Nuclear Medicine Fellowship. Prerequisite education for entry into the fellowship program includes the satisfactory completion of a Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine residency program. The training time may be extended, but will be addressed on an individual basis.
These are one year fellowships that provide comprehensive training in diagnostic nuclear imaging, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. The fellowship is composed of rotations primarily on nuclear medicine and PET/CT, with blocks allocated to electives, research, and nuclear cardiology. In addition, fellows will be expected to attend relevant Tumor Boards and educational sessions, as well as prepare didactics for Diagnostic Radiology residents. Research participation leading to publications is expected.
