The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks two full time faculty members to complete a new, 3-person Division of Emergency Radiology. The section will provide evening/nighttime coverage for a level one trauma center and a new small community hospital. Responsibilities will include interpretation of emergency radiology and some stat inpatient cases while supervising radiology residents during their night float rotation. The position offers one 7 day work week followed by 14 consecutive days off.
Candidates must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology, MSK, Abdominal Imaging, or Neuroradiology is preferred; however, work experience will also be considered. Candidates must be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full time faculty position at the University of Florida.
